Monsters can advance in rank by winning a ranked match, which takes place once every three months of in-game time. Rank advancement provides the following benefits:

• Expansion of training/areas available for exploration

• Increased skill level limit

• Increased skill cost limit

• Increased player rank for the first rank achieved
